Local authorities starting to run Free-D events
1 December 2009
Local authorities nationwide are gearing up to host their first Free-D events and some have already taken place with great success.
Various community locations will be the setting for 16-30 year olds to voice their opinions on topics that matter to them.
Following on from the distribution of the Free-D toolkits, nineteen local authorities are planning debates and discussions for young people.
Peterborough recently held a foreign policy discussion event, highlighted in the case study of the month.
