Free-D in action, case studies

The Free-D approach

Free-D is encouraging community leaders and influencers to set up Free-D events, providing people aged 16-30 with a non-threatening, non-judgmental forum where they can voice their opinions without fear of censure or prejudice.

The use of local events to engage young people is a tried and tested format. Some great work has already taken place up and down the country to engage people aged 16-30 in open, positive and peaceful discussion. Activities so far include a Question Time-style debate for young Muslims in Dudley, a peace march for Palestine in Bristol, plus a number of other community discussions and outreach events.
